Mukutmanipur – 200 kms away from the city of Kolkata , Mukutmanipur is a village in Bankura district of West Bengal. Mukutmanipur is situated at the confluence of the river Kangsabati and Kumari and holds the 2nd largest earthen dam in the country spreaded over an area of 3625 sq. kms. Susunia – is a hill in Bankura district of West Bengal with an altitude of 1200 ft. and is believed to be older than the great mountain Himalaya in age. Some 4th century's inscriptions found in Susunia makes historians believe that during 4th century it was the capital of king Chandravarman and was known as Pushkarna. The king Chandravana lost his battle to the Gupta emperor Samudragupta and the area became a part of Gupta empire.  This is further supported by the inscriptions of Samudragupta found in Allahabad.
